Sure, my first name is already one-of-a-kind, but Douglas? That name carries some serious legend. Straight out of Scottish folklore, the Douglas clan was known for their bold (and slightly mischievous) tactics. Like poisoning a well to defend their fort, earning the name Dou-glas or dark water. Hardcore, right? My dad was all about celebrating our heritage, always reminding me that where we come from shapes who we become. He even carried that legacy into his art, illustrating under the name darkh20. While I’ve carved my own creative path, that influence runs deep, proving that a little darkness can make the brightest designs shine.

This demo reel brings together snippets of my work in animation and motion design, showcasing how I can use movement to enhance storytelling and visual impact. From subtle transitions to more playful, expressive moments, the reel is designed to give a sense of how my static design skills translate into motion.
